Shalom Haverim, (Hello Friends),

Happy New Year! Tonight starts Rosh HaShanah-The Head of the Year. This also begins the ten days of Awe that culminates in Yom Kippor- The Day of Atonement. This is a time to draw close to the Lord and open our hearts to Him.

We are so grateful for the many prayers that have been lifted to the Lord. The Gamma Knife Procedure went very well. No new lesions were discovered in the very detailed MRI of the brain.

Tomorrow (September 9) we go to the oncologist to find out when the a course of medication for the lung and bone cancer begins.

Prayer Points

· Please pray for the doctor to have the Lord’s mind and prescribe the most beneficial medicine with the least side effects.

· Please pray that Margaret regains her strength. She is very tired.

Shalom Haverim (Hello Friends),

To begin with, we thank all of you for your faithful and steadfast prayers. We greatly appreciate your encouragement and Margaret truly believes your support is instrumental in her recovery.

To recap, on Wednesday August 4, Margaret was admitted to the Cleveland Clinic due to the debilitating effects of a lesion in her brain. To alleviate the problem she underwent two surgeries, one that afternoon, and the other on Friday. She was discharged on Saturday.

This past Thursday, we met with a neurosurgeon and a neurologist. They have scheduled radio surgery, known as Gamma Knife, for Friday, September 3rd. Due to the complexities of this procedure, this outpatient process will consume most of the day. If possible, please remember Margaret in your prayers, especially on Friday.

Sometime following this treatment, the oncologist will prescribe pills to inhibit the growth of the cancer cells found in her lungs and bone. We are asking you to beseech the Lord to divinely and supernaturally intervene for our blessing, obviously, but for more importantly, for His glory

As a specific praise report, we especially thank those directly responsible for financial benefit and also those that have prayed accordingly.

Prayer Points:

That the Lord will eliminate the lesion prior to Friday September 3, and if that doesn’t occur, that He will be in charge of the Gamma Knife procedure
No short term or long term side effects
For all the cancer in Margaret’s body to be destroyed.
Cessation of pain
Nahum 1:9 Whatever you (His enemies) devise against the Lord, He will make a complete end of it. Distress will not rise up twice.

Shalom Haverim (Hello Friends)

Thank you for your prayers. Margret, cofounder of Moriah Ministries, felt a tremendous energy boost for two days after the email went out. We know many of you are still praying and we appreciate the prayers.Progress: The Cleveland Clinic sent a sample of the brain fluid to pathology and surprisingly there was no sign of cancer. Nevertheless, the lesion still needs to be dealt with. We have decided to go with the Gamma Knife instead of the general whole brain radiation. The Gamma Knife is not actually a knife. For some reason it is the term used for radiating a specific area.

In the past week and a half we met with an oncologist, a radiologist and the neurological surgeon. Next week we meet with the doctor who is to perform the Gamma Knife procedure and a neurologist who would be present during the treatment. We assume the actual treatment will be scheduled for the following week.

Prayer points:

Please pray that the treatment will be successful with No Side Effects-short term or long term.
Miracle healing of lesion and cancer in lungs, bones and anywhere else.
Keep us focused on the L-RD.
Cessation of all pain.
Financial provision.

Shalom Haverim, (Hello Friends),

We would greatly appreciate your prayers for Margaret’s health. According to the
doctors at the Cleveland Clinic, a slow-growing cancer has spread to her brain,
lungs, and bone. The Clinic diagnosed well-advanced breast cancer in July 2008.
We chose not to follow their recommendation of radiation, chemo, and double
mastectomy. After pursuing alternative methods, in July 2009, the cancerous
tumors were ‘cooked’ via laser treatment at an alternative treatment center. The
process of the body ridding itself of the dead cells is a lengthy process.

However, recently, Margaret experienced memory loss, loss of balance and other
problems. The Clinic discovered these problems were due to a lesion in the
brain, which was causing a build up of pressure in the brain fluids. This
required surgery to drain the fluid from the brain into her digestive tract.

The next step is radiation of the lesion by either radiating the whole brain or
pinpoint radiation on the lesion known as Gamma knife, which presently appears
to be the preferred option. This procedure is to prevent further growth of the
lesion. After this process, medication in the form of pills will help inhibit
the growth of the cancer in the other areas to prolong and benefit quality of
life.

Due to Margaret’s Jewish ancestry and a popular belief that Jewish doctors are
often the best in the field, we are pursuing a second opinion. We have already
asked Dr. Bar David, the most famous doctor known throughout history to take her
case. As you may know, Bar David is from the line of Israeli medical
practitioners, Dr. Elijah and Dr. Elisha. His credentials are well documented in
an ancient book commonly referred to as the Holy Scriptures and is called by the
non-Jewish moniker, Jesus Christ.

We will make the final decision next week and the treatments will probably start
the following week. Again, we would greatly appreciate your prayers in our
decision making, guiding the doctors and most importantly, petitioning Dr. Bar
David (Son of David) to be fully involved of every aspect of restoring Margaret
to complete health, not only as a blessing to us, but also to further
demonstrate how awesome He is and deserving of glory and honor.

4. Strengthening family unity
