Davidic Dance Videos Reviews

Celebrating the Messiah in Dance

I loved seeing the beauty of each dance with the long shots, then the scene morphing into the teaching of the steps up close. As a viewer, I especially responded to the workshop content. On the one hand, I can watch over and over the polished movements of the dance team members. On the other hand, seeing workshop participants of such diversity and all shapes and sizes and skill levels out on the floor was beautiful. I think viewers who weren't there will get a sense of the joy and warmth at the workshop. I'm sure it will be an encouragement to anyone who wants to dance!

I liked the musical background you added to the stretching exercises. Also, the cover design is way cool!

Hello Margaret,

I ordered two DVDs on Friday ("Dance to Be Free" & "Rejoice in the Dance") and I just wanted to let you know that they arrived yesterday right on schedule ~ and thanks for your prayer!

We had a wonderful time with the videos last night; my husband and I previewed them and picked out what we thought we could teach to our home church.  We had a gathering of about 20, and we all had a great time learning the dances and then using them with our own music.

What a beautiful way to worship our Lord!  We are hoping to do this on a regular basis, and are excited to learn the rest of the dances.

Thanks so much, and blessings to you all,
PM

Shalom Margaret,

Thank you for answering my email.  I am really enjoying the DVD's, I purchased "Dance with Me, My Bride" and "Worship Him In Dance Workshop", they are wonderful!  Some are easy enough to teach very new beginners, Thank you so much for your ministry.

Hello!
I have borrowed my girlfriends dvd's that she purchased from your ministry.  I first must say how much we have enjoyed the simplicity of the davidic dance -- so very worshipful!  We desire to have this type of dance at our church and our pastor and his wife are very supportive!

My question refers to the instructions from Tootie on the Dance with Me, My Bride dvd.
I am wondering how wide to make the prayer shawl.  Also I would like to know the best method to finish the raw edges.  Did you use a serger or a rolled hem?  Thank you for taking time to answer these questions.

Blessings to you and your ministry,
Kathi

Make the prayer shawl (tallit) as wide as the material 45-54". Tootie finished the raw edge with a serger.

Shalom Margaret and Happy Hanukah and Merry Christmas!

I just watched the video you made of the dances in Israel and I just want to thank you for doing such a great job!  It came out wonderful. You and your family are blessed with many talents.
I noticed that we will be traveling to Israel in May 2007 - I can hardly wait! I guess that will be the soonest we can go as whoever is interested needs time to prepare...
Will we stop in Jerusalem? I didn't see any mention of it in the letter.
Hope all is well with you! I am looking forward to seeing everyone in February.
love and God Bless

Sheila

Yes, we will definitely go to Jerusalem, as well as Galilee, En Gedi, Be er Sheva, Eilat etc. maybe even Petra. Am excited to see you at the workshop.

Shalom Margaret,

I received the DVD set Sat and am enjoying them very much.  I have thoroughly soaked in the first two beginner DVDs.  Those worshipful slow movements are so lovely.

Already I have applied the Largo dance steps to El Shaddai ( sang a looong time ago by Amy Grant.  Michael Card just released a lovely version of this song).  It amazes me how these simple movements show the music so wonderfully.

My friend Kathi and I are going to learn together.  Also, my messianic chavera, Patty, will also join us.  So you will be blessed to know Jew and gentile will be learning together here in the back woods of southeast
Ohio. \o/

Kathi and I are anticipating everything the Holy Spirit is going to do.Thank you for providing these great teaching resources.  Also for the great prayers and bible teachings ~ thank you.

Yeshua Bless you and all involved in Moriah Ministries.

Love, Susan

Hi and God bless you.

I have had the pleasure of buying your video tapes on davidic dance.  I especially love the "Rejoice in the Dance" video. Our dance ministry would love to dance the Canta, Canta Bat Sion (Spanish version).  How could I purchase the songs on CD/tape so we could dance?  Any information you could provide would be great.  Keep up the wonderful work!!!
P.S. Some other songs included are: Levantate Señor, Bueno es, Quien es Como tu.
Thank you,
Alma

Dear Margaret,
I just want to thank you for the lovely dance to Michamoka off of Paul Wilbur`s Up to Zion CD. We did this dance holding two taper candles at our Hanukkah party and are doing it with our winter programs. It is a beautiful dance.
Shabbat Shalom!
Tess

Hi Margaret,
I sense in my spirit that God is bringing the dance back into the church.  I attend a Spirit-filled church in Arlington, TX.  Right now, most dancers are doing the 2-step shuffle (for lack of a better term).  You know - step right, close feet, step left, close feet.  But I have felt that the Lord was leading us to learn some Davidic dances.  My husband, 9-year-old son, and I have been taking international folk dancing lessons to learn some of the steps.  We have learned some
Israeli circle dances, but wished we could learn more Davidic dances.
That's where your videos have come in. Your praise videos are awesome!  I can't wait to learn more dances. By the way, the Lord revealed something to me a few weeks ago about praising
Him in the dance.  Do you know what happens when you dance before the Lord?
He shows up and dances with you!
Paula C.
P.S.  My husband and I have a website to minister to those in the job market.  It's http://www.jobministry.org.  Feel free to share it with others.

Dance inspired by video

Shalom Margaret

Not sure if you remember but we used the video "Worship Him In Dance Workshop" for some ideas to include a dance routine into our Christmas Musical. Here is a photo of the dance in action to give you a bit of an idea of how it looked...

God bless in your ministry

Intermediate level VHS video provides clear, easy to follow instruction for the dance enthusiast who has some experience in dancing.  This video was recorded live at a dance workshop. The anointing and excitement present at the workshop infuses into the viewer.

Featuring Six Popular and Contemporary Dances

The video contains six dances: Psalm 30, Mirad Cuan Bueno (How Pleasant It Is), It Is Good, Days Of Elijah, El Grito Del El Shaddai (The Shout Of El Shaddai) and Jew And Gentile. Two of the songs are sung in Spanish. Because of the limitations in time and increased number of dances the instruction is quicker.

Included in the video is a teaching containing practical tips on how the viewer can choreograph his/her own dances. Through step by step instruction the viewer is taught how to turn an inspiration from the Lord into a viable dance.

Presentation of Material

It will be hard for the viewer to remain seated as the power and anointing of the workshop touches all who watch. The clear subtitles on dance instruction accompanied by the verbal and visual give this video a triple barreled approach that will bless many.

Walking On The Highway Of Holiness

I recently bought a copy of your book Walking On The Highway Of Holiness, and started using it as a daily devotional. Every day, without fail, what you have written on the pages of that book speaks directly to my heart, and meets an immediate need.
Thank you for being sensitive to what the Holy Spirit speaks to you, and for allowing him to speak through you to give guidance and direction.
Your brother,
Joel
...I also took much time reading your book (Walking On The Highway Of Holiness) given to you by God!  Powerful!!  Thank you for sharing this with me.  There is so much hope and love that jumps off every page.  It is a miracle.

I can highly recommend "Walking on the Highway of Holiness".  The pages are filled with the Truth and Wisdom of Scripture, as well as the Lord God's own healing touch.

Hope For The Hurting And Wounded

Prayer/Devotional

The logical progression of this prayer/devotional meets the reader at his/her point of need and gently shepherds the reader into the healing presence of God. The devotions are free standing. The book has the flexibility of being a daily devotional or a pick up and read. The extensive Table of Contents guides the reader to the appropriate selection. Each devotional has three parts: a beginning scripture, explication and application of the scripture and ending with praying  the scripture into the reader’s life.

The Scriptures

The scriptural selections are all taken from the Old Testament. The Hebrew roots of specific words are examined to enrich the meaning of the verse. The actual Hebrew letters are also included.

The Purpose

The book serves as a healing balm of Gilead to bring healing to wounded hearts, to teach forgiveness, to establish a firm scriptural foundation and to receive God’s answers for life’s questions. The book is a wonderful tool to bring the lost (both Jewish and gentile) to the Lord. Thus far the overwhelming positive response leads us to believe we may have a potential classic. A must have – must read.

The Fifth Cup Haggadah

An In Depth Examination of the Significance of the Last Supper and Integration with the Jewish Celebration of the Passover Seder

What Is A Haggadah?

A haggadah is a book which in Hebrew literally means ‘to tell forth’ the story of the exodus of the Jewish people from their bondage in Egypt. God commands all who follow Him to celebrate the Passover feast. Jesus and His disciples celebrated the Passover seder which is commonly referred to as the Last Supper.

Why Is This Haggadah Different?

This Messianic Jewish Haggadah assists non-Jewish believers to acquire a greater understanding and appreciation of the Last Supper. It also provides step by step instructions on how the reader can conduct a Passover feast in his/her own home. Lastly, it teaches on the significance and symbology of the Fifth Cup, commonly referred to as Elijah’s Cup which plays a key role in the coming Kingdom as the prophecies of old come to fruition.

Who Is The Audience For This Haggadah?

Any person who desires a deeper, richer understanding of Easter will benefit from this book. The clear and simple description of historical background captures the reader and transports him/her into the historical context. Frequent illustrations add to the charm and unique flavor. The mixture of the traditional Jewish haggadah within the setting of the Christian ideology gives a richness and depth to the Easter holiday observance.
